TRESOR (French for “treasure” and pronounced “Trezor”) is multi-award winning and platinum-selling, singer-songwriter & producer. His own label, VII Recordings is currently licensed un Universal Music Group.

TRESOR’s first language is Music. He is also fluent in English, French, and Swahili. His songs reflect a peregrine of life shared by so many on the Africa continent. Only a few are able to express their experiences in a way that captures the ear so universally and directly. Tresor left Goma in the Eastern DRC to pursue a career in music. Durban was a new world for young Tresor, who had to learn English in a short space of time.

Despite all challenges, TRESOR managed to survive. He then worked as a car guard by day and a security guard by night. In between the two jobs, he hustled his way into the local scene. Linking up with local musicians and quickly making a name for himself.

TRESOR released his debut album, VII in September 2015. The album featured multi-award-winning artists such as AKA, Beatenberg, Khuli Chana and The Soil. TRESOR’s Mount Everest (Freddy Verano Remix) music video, became a hit in Italy. It reached number one on the Global Shazam trending list and reached over (1 Million) views online after its release. VII won Best Pop Album at the 2016 South African Music Awards.

His highly awaited album “The Beautiful Madness” saw its release on 26 May 2017. The album received prime banner placement on iTunes upon its release.

TRESOR’s is now synonymous with the new Pop sound moulded in Africa.
